Such is true randomness It can repeat itself quiet a few times. I've tried it out and gotten compatible elves with different players, so we're ready to do the official draw as soon as everyone has said a clear yes or no about their elves!

The votes are in and the lottery is about to begin! Keep an eye out for a "Congratulations!" Or "No Recognition" message later tonight

Also, since there was argument for two Recognitions fairly close to each other, and I think that's a good idea, what say you to a second one fairly soon after whenever the current Recognized pair chooses to reveal their Recognition in-game? The second Recognition would not take place in the same game-thread, but a day or two after, in-game. Possibly longer, if we make a longer time-jump of a week or a month - we'll have to discuss how we want to move forward as a group, I think. With the elves being new and trying to survive, I think we should avoid too long timejumps or we might miss getting to play fun "establishing" moments in their lives And, here's a thought: Should players who just got a Recognition for elves they play have all their elves taken out of the next Recognition poll? That way we can ensure that the Recognitions gets spread across several players as well as several elves - some players have two or three elves after all, while others only have one, making the odds uneven.

Well, I think it would be fair that the people who got the lucky draw will be out of the next one?

I'm down for a second one fairly soon after. I think that not many characters would expect that, so it would be just as surprising.
I also think it's fair to remove the players who just got "lucky" from the second draw. There are twelve of us, I think, so it seems only fair at the moment to spread out the Recognitions amongst the players. (but I only advocate for this for Recognitions that are super close together)

Oki! Unless someone wants to argue against this, I say we:
1) Have a second Recognition happen pretty soon after the first one.
2) Remove all elves of the players who got a Recognition in the first lottery from the second draw.
Players who didn't have their elves in the Recognition pool during the first lottery can of course put them in for this second one, should they wish to!

I agree too. On the second recognition, and the withdrawing the lucky players from the second draw. Spread it around just to be fair.

Cat's out of the bag - our first Recognized couple is Choice and Nettle! This means Pyre's and my elves automatically are out of the next Recognition pool. I'll start that drawing as soon as everyone has answered my "Are you in or out?" messages

I really like the idea of the second recognition too. It'll be good that Nettle's cub has an agemate. XD.
