I'm just putting this out there. I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing it or if it's just due to my browser. But everytime I try to go back and edit a post I have made in the forum I get this weird gobbledy-gook of 'xmls blah blah > on every line. It makes the edited post look very ugly afterwards so I end up having to use the back button and having to repost the original post without formatting. Ugh. I'm starting to wonder if it's a common PB error. I think I remember seeing something like this in another of my old forum based holts. I can't quite recall.

That's weird. What format is your post in?
edit: Ignore that. I was thinking Preview vs BBCode, but switching between those two didn't change anything for my original post, so...no idea. I'm guessing it's your browser.

Hi Greywing,
No it's not in the Preview/BBCode windows. I'm starting to think it's an error in Firefox, since that's the browser I normally use. I've tried editing posts in ME - for Windows and no errors.
Weird. I'm gonna google it.
Nope, no luck with googling, although I think it might be an undefined HTML/XML tag thus it keeps popping up in my edited posts. It seems to be happening in other forums too across the internet, from what googling I've done. Still not sure if it's browser specific though.

That's...really bizarre. O.o I could ask Proboards Support if you like. Google is telling me possibly a misbehaving browser plugin?

Haven't heard of that problem before. I'll do some googling as well - I use Firefox too and mine is behaving itself so I'll try to find out what could make it act up.

That's...really bizarre. O.o I could ask Proboards Support if you like. Google is telling me possibly a misbehaving browser plugin? Yeah it was my texthighlighter plugin for some reason. I disabled and re-enabled all of my other ones. I don't use many, but some are default like Flash and Javascript. Those were fine. I'm glad it wasn't my AdBlock plugin. Yikes. I'm not a fan of the adverts alot of the sites, even the free webhosting ones put up. It's a waste of webspace, even if I do appreciate the need for online marketing. Thanks, but no need to ask Proboards Support. I figured out which plugin it was and it's disabled now. XD. I have experience in testing PC's for errors so it was just a matter of troubleshooting to find the problem. Thanks though Greywing, you did prompt me to test my plugins though. And you were totally spot-on! Kudos to you! Woot!
