Here is a place to write down what your elf/elves think about the rest of the group. This is not meant as a discussion thread for relationships, merely as a place to keep reminders to yourself and other elves what your elf thinks about them. If you want to discuss relationships with other players, PM them or start a thread in the 'Game Discussions' section, as Mia has done for her elf Badger here. Unsure of what to write here? Try thinking of reactions to cultural and physical differences. For example: Keleero is very weirded out by elves sharing blood with their bond-friends' species, which will affect his relationships with animal-blooded elves. These impressions are not meant to be static. Feel free to post first impressions here and update them as your elves get to know each other better * Elves currently in the HoltBadger, Choice, Crispin, Eryk, FarSight, Flint, Juniper, Keleero, Mahrak, Milo, Nightbird, No-Sting, Reefshadow, SL2657F, Sunset, Swift-Wind, Tambri Elves no longer in the HoltEdgerunner, Goldenbraid, Greywing, Jaseio, Mindlight, Nettle, Panaetha, Rokuta, Sefu, Silvergill, Silverthorn, Slinker, Swish, Tinder, Vareesi Elves who never arrived in the HoltMeadow * People with more than one elf, please create a separate post for each of your elves, like I've done for Choice, Keleero & No-Sting. It's extra work, but it makes it so much easier to read what our elves all think about each other * The relationships-info of elves who've left the holt will be moved to this thread.

Badger: No-Sting thinks she's oh so pretty and that she also seems like an interesting person to get to know. No-Sting tends to get tongue-tied around Badger. It's gotten a little better and she can overcome it when they're with other elves, but the two of them alone...yeah, No-Sting overthinks what she'll say a lot. Choice: He's sweet and very open. Has shown a tendency to be a bit nervous in No-Sting's opinion. Him losing his Recognized has made No-Sting feel sorry for him, and also made her very awkward around him. Crispin: The first impression Crispin has given No-Sting is one of calm - something much needed in this holt! Eryk: His grief makes him hard for No-Sting to know how to act around. FarSight: TBA Flint: No-Sting likes his caution, but doesn't quite understand his ways, having never met an elf who's only ever met two other elves in their whole life. Juniper: An Elder who seems to prefer keeping to himself. No-Sting hasn't had the energy or motivation to try to approach him since he seems content without company. Keleero: No-Sting feels uneasy around him. His High Ones seems to have shared blood with birds (that's the conclusion she's arrived at since he's talked about his people riding giant eagles) and he can fly and shape rocks - it's all just to strange. He also seems quite suspicious of others, even though he's by no means hostile. Mahrak: He's fun company, but far too reckless for No-Sting to feel comfortable only working with him on a hunt or similar. Also, his magic unsettles her. Milo: He seems shy, which is understandable with how some of the tribe is treating him. She's not that surprised that elves can mate with humans, since they can mate with lynxes. Assumes one of his parents was a shapechanger. Nightbird: TBA Reefshadow: No-Sting in't close with him, but his skills at fishing are a great help to the tribe. SL2657F: A very jumpy elf, without being actually jumpy. No-Sting wonders what happened to her, but hasn't dared ask yet. No reason to dig at old wounds, right? Sunset: No-Sting likes her. Oddspot has taken a big shine to Sunset's kitten. Swift-Wind: While Swift-Wind and No-Sting always have gotten along, it's strange to spend time with her sister without there being some arguing or squabbling going on. Maybe they can get back to their sibling teasing eventually - it would make things feel more normal at least. Tambri: After Tambri revealed her traumatic childhood loss of family and friends to an attack made by humans, No-Sting doesn't know how to act around her. She seems a capable sort, but after having seen that much rage and fear... Yeah...
Former tribe members Edgerunner: Never interacted with him much since he often was out patrolling. Still sad about his death. Goldenbraid: They talked now and then. No-Sting thought she was nice. Greywing: No-Sting never figured out what she thought of Greywing, but still feels her disappearance as a loss to the holt. Jaseio: No-Sting thought of her as nice and hardworking. She was a reliable part of the tribe. Mindlight: No-Sting gave her space to get over her grief of losing her loved ones through the move to Beacon Call. This meant No-Sting never got to know her well, which she regrets a bit now that Mindlight has vanished. Nettle: Though No-Sting never got to know Nettle too well, her disappearance is a sad thing because it hit Choice, her Recoginized, so hard. Panaetha: No-Sting was in awe of Panaetha. She was like one of the First Born stepped out of the tales, but she was also a healer and able to fly! How can one speak normally to such an elf? No-Sting had a lot of conflicting feelings about Panaetha, since she was very much cat-like and thus worthy of awe, but she had magic which is dangerous. No-Sting thus doesn't quite know what to think about her vanishing. Rokuta: No-Sting didn't have time to quite place him. He worked hard, but seemed to prefer working alone. As much as No-Sting understands loners, her own tribe not having been very centered, her tribe was big on cooperation for survival. But Rokuta wasn't hostile so she had no reason to dislike him. Sefu: He confused No-Sting to no end. She was trying to wrap her mind around what's happened to him, seeing as she still has little idea of what a 'slave' is. Silvergill: Had no time to form a clear opinion of her, other than that she seemed young. Silverthorn: Being an elf who took the position of leader a lot of the time, it feels a little empty now that Silverthorn has disappeared. No-Sting doesn't exactly miss him, since she never got close to him, but he has left a big hole behind. Slinker: No-Sting thought Slinker was a bit fun to have around, but she can't say she knew him in any sense of the word. Swish: No-Sting was a little unsure of how to act around him due him being a sea-elf. She tried to treat Swish like any other kit; despite his odd colors. Tinder: Though her fire magic scared No-Sting, Tinder seemed more troubled than dangerous. Vareesi: The flying was unsettling, as was the High One like appearance that she shared with Keleero - at least, that's what No-Sting had pictured High Ones must have looked like, tall slender elves with smaller ears. But she went outside the mountain without fear which make her somewhat less strange in No-Sting's eyes.

Badger: (Under discussion). Crispin: Choice enjoys how calm she is and is fascinated by her magic! Eryk: He seems so sad. Choice sympathizes a lot with him, also having lost close family both recently and at a young age. FarSight: Choice's first impression of him is that he's capable and kind - risking your life for wolf cubs and strangers alike is a sign of a good heart, in Choice's opinion. Flint: A very strange fellow. They almost have a lot in common, having lived without a tribe for a large part of their lives, though not quite. With Choice having experienced having a tribe and losing it and Flint never having had more than his brother and mother, Choice almost feels like Flint is a strange reflection of himself; a reflection he never knows how to read or anticipate. His fire magic is fascinating though and very helpful in this terribly cold land. Juniper: His magic is fascinating, but Choice has no wish to bother him. He seems to prefer to keep his own company. Keleero: He's so tall! And something about his eyes gives Choice the impression he's really old. Being a rockshaper as well as a Glider means Keleero made quite a deep first impression on Choice. That said, Keleero's reaction to Milo has made him lose grace in Choice's eyes. Mahrak: He's a bit...much. Milo: Poor cub! Choice already cares a great deal for Milo, feeling he's gone through an ordeal far worse yet similar to Choice's own life. Very protective over him. Nightbird: TBA No-Sting: They get along fine, though she's sometimes a little too brusk and loud for Choice's taste. He feels nervous around her when she gets like that. Her clear unease around magic is also odd. Reefshadow: Likes him, but doesn't know him well. SL2657F: It's hard to get to know her since they lack a common language, but Choice does his best to show her kindness. Sunset: She is a kind elf. Choice enjoys her company. Swift-Wind: She's been kind and she has wonderful magic! Choice likes spending time with her. Tambri: She's a treeshaper, which fascinates Choice. He hasn't talked much with her yet, but definitely wants to.
Former tribe members Edgerunner: Choice had no time to form an opinion of him since he spent a lot of time out scouting or hunting. A death is still terribly sad. Goldenbraid: She seemed nice. Greywing: Choice liked her and is sad she's gone. He hopes she actually vanished to a good place and that she's not dead in the snow somewhere. Jaseio: Choice liked her - she's was gentle and liked to talk, which always is a positive mark in Choice's book. He misses her. Mindlight: Choice liked her and is sad she's gone. He hopes she actually vanished to a good place and that she's not dead in the snow somewhere. Nettle: Choice is heart-broken over the loss of Nettle and their unborn cub. He can't think about her too long without crying, still, and will often go to sleep thinking about her soul name. He hopes beyond hope that she's safe, back with her people. Panaetha: Choice was very impressed by Panaetha; she seemed very kind and powerful. He's deeply saddened by her vanishing, but hopes she's in a good place now. Rokuta: Never saw much of him, thus never formed a clear opinion of him. Sefu: He seemed shy, which Choice found comforting - it was good to not be the only insecure one in the holt. He misses him. Silvergill: She seemed nice, but they didn't get the chance to speak much. Silverthorn: Didn't see much of him, thus never formed a clear opinion of him. Slinker: He seemed to like riling people up, which drew up bad memories for Choice. Choice thus avoided Slinker and never got to know him well. Swish: Poor cub, all alone! Choice felt very protective of Swish and worries about what's happened to him not that he's missing. Tinder: Choice was starting to warm to Tinder before she disappeared. He thought her kind, if a bit brusk at times, and her fire magic was a source of warmth in this cold, cold land. Vareesi: Never met her.

Post by Keleero on Aug 31, 2014 19:54:25 GMT 1
Badger: She has a wolf. That makes Keleero nervous. He tries not to show it. Good thing he has steady control of his expressions - most of the time. Choice: So naive, so full of questions. Keleero isn't sure if he's really good at faking his innocence and excitement or if that really who he is. Now that Choice has lost his Recognized, Keleero is twice as wary of him. Keleero has seen what grief does to elves and it's rarely safe to be around such emotions. Their confrontation around Milo has only made Keleero more on edge around Choice. Crispin: Hasn't spoken much with her yet, but a healer can both be a great boon and a great threat, so Keleero won't let his guard down around her while also not wanting to antagonize her. Eryk: Self-sufficient but grief stricken. Not sure of yet. FarSight: TBA Flint: In Flint, Keleero sees a kindred spirit, if from a very different walk of life. A possible ally. Juniper: He seems to like keeping to himself, which is perfectly fine with Keleero. Plantshaping is a magic Keleero has little knowledge of and thus he prefers said magic be kept well away from him (though he tries to hide how uncomfortable Juniper's magic makes him). That said, the magic is also very useful, which in the end is good for the group. Mahrak: Seems a bit naive, or just very confident. Either way, it's unsettling. How they've ended up in bed together on and off only the High Ones know. Milo: Half-elf, half-human and shared his soul name the first thing he did after arriving. He utterly baffles and frightens Keleero. Nightbird: TBA No-Sting: She seems uneasy around him and magic in general, so Keleero doesn't approach her. Keeps an eye on her though, just to be sure. Reefshadow: Is unsure of him, but at least he's a good fish-catcher. SL2657F: Keleero is still very on edge around her. Has decided to call her Spotfur, since her name is so long and complicated (and human influenced). She is very hard to read and predict, which unsettles Keleero extremely. Also, she's so much animal... Sunset: She seems nice and has sought Keleero out for company, which either makes her a potential enemy or ally, though most likely ally. He tries to ignore that she probably is related to the cheetah cub she drags around. Swift-Wind: Seems to have an appreciation for magic similar to Choice's but has much more confidence and ease around people. That could be a good or a bad sign. Keleero would approach her to offer lessons in magic if not for the fact that her animal-blood unsettles him so. Tambri: Thus far, she seems stable and she's a magic user - which is both dangerous and helpful. Her wolf is unsettling, especially now that Keleero knows why a wolf would spend its days with an elf.
Former tribe members Edgerunner: Keleero never got to know him well. The loss of a scout and hunter is a bad thing though. Goldenbraid: She seemed friendly, which made Keleero suspicious. She either lived an innocent life or was plotting something - at least in Keleero's experience of other elves. Greywing: Was unsure of her, but losing a hunter is always bad for survival. Jaseio: She had a horse like a human would and also spoke well of humans, which was unsettling. But she spent a lot of time in the caves and was very friendly. Keleero never knew where to place her but he... misses her. Mindlight: He was unsure of her, especially because of her mind-magic. Her vanishing is almost a relief to him because of this. Nettle: She had a wolf and the power to shape plants. If she hadn't Recognized Choice, Keleero would have been glad to be free of such strange things - but now that she's left a grieving soulmate behind, Keleero wishes she hadn't been taken. Who knows what grief will make Choice do? Panaetha: She was a glider, so that was familiar, but the rest of her was far too strange. Panaetha also being a healer, Keleero couldn't help but be cautious around her. He knows what damage a healer can do if angered. And now that Keleero knows about animal-blooded elves the thought of how Panaetha got her fur and tail unsettles Keleero greatly. He is honestly relieved she's no longer with the group and has no wish to go searching for her, should she still be in the lands of Beacon Call. Rokuta: Individualistic which Keleero is quite used to. He brought in a lot of fish, which made him a valuable member of the group. Keleero tried to keep on his good side. But he acted so young that Keleero had trouble connecting with him. Sefu: Having connected over their rockshaping magic and having no animal-blood, Keleero considered Sefu his closest ally in the group. He misses Sefu deeply though he'd never admit it to anyone else. Silvergill: Keleero didn't have time to get to know her. Silverthorn: He was a leader, through and through. Keleero was worried about getting caught up in a power struggle, should someone question the orders Silverthorn seemed to freely give out, and is thus glad to have him gone. Slinker: They didn't get off to a good start, so Keleero considered him a potential enemy. Was very suspicious of him and it's a relief that he's gone. Swish: Keleero has no idea how to act around children, so he never got to know Swish well, but he knows enough about children to hope Swish has gone to a place with other, adult elves. Tinder: Fire-starters scare Keleero. Far too many bad memories of how horribly their magic can be used against others. That said, one of Keleero's few friends back home was a fire-starter and Tinder didn't hurt anyone, so Keleero didn't mark her as a danger. Vareesi: She looks like Keleero is used to elves looking, which both puts him at ease around her and keeps him on his toes. He thinks he knows how to read her and thus far she hasn't seemed hostile.

Badger Unsure. Choice Thinks he is incredibly sweet and finds herself feeling protective of him. She hopes he's able to preserve that upbeat attitude. Admires him for being that way in spite of his hardships. Edgerunner finds him intimidating, but no judge on character yet. Goldenbraid Not enough interaction to form opinion. Jaseio TBA. Juniper TBA. Keleero Consistently perplexed by his seriousness; not entirely sure how she feels about him otherwise. (Meadow) Not enough interaction to form opinion. Mindlight The wolfrider chief is stoic but something about her terrifies Sunset. No-Sting Likes her, but it may be that she just enjoys the presence of another cat-blooded after so long alone. Something about her makes Sunset wary. Panaetha Respect and amazed. A bit cowed by her presence. Reefshadow Doesn't like his snark, but otherwise hasn't interacted with him much. Rokuta He's quiet but so far she doesn't have a problem with him. Silverthorn Not enough interaction to form opinion. Swift-Wind Same as No-Sting, except not particularly wary of her.
Former Tribe Members Nettle Knew she was trying to be motherly but felt her to be a bit pushy. Slinker Hadn't fully formed an opinion, but had developed a small crush on him. Tinder So happy to see her, and confused by how old she is now. Missed her horribly and is afraid for how their relationship will have changed. Heartbroken at having lost the chance to reconnect. Vareesi Awed and intimidated.

Badger: Unsure. Sees her as hard-working, reliable elf. Otherwise a mystery. Choice: Not engaged enough to form an opinion. Edgerunner: Not met yet. Greywing: Barely out of cubhood, Juniper does not have much to say about her. Jaseio: Not engaged enough to form an opinion. Juniper: N/A Keleero: Supposedly alright, Keleero seems a little anxious and fidgety, and seems to be lacking a lot of knowledge (wolfbonding, treedens). Mahrak: Not met yet. Mindlight: Not engaged enough to form an opinion. No-Sting: Not engaged enough to form an opinion. Panaetha: This one certainly looks odd. Reefshadow: Not engaged enough to form an opinion. Sefu: ...At least he is pretty? Sunset: Does not talk much to the treeshaper, so the treeshaper does not talk to her. Swift-Wind: Not engaged enough to form an opinion. Swish: Cub seems confused about everything surrounding them, so Juniper tries to be patient. His wild colours are a mystery to the treeshaper.
Former tribemates
Goldenbraid: Not engaged enough to form an opinion. Nettle: Suspicious how she had all those seeds they needed in dire times, hm. (Meadow): Never met. Rokuta: Rokuta is alright, but seems really confused about their surroundings. Silverthorn: Did not engage enough to form an opinion. Slinker: Not to be trusted, Slinker is by Juniper's standards a personality, who 'soils his own nest'. Tinder: Juniper sees the fireshaper as a threat and dislikes the way Tinder seems to love her own voice. Vareesi: Did not get to know her.

Badger: N/A Choice: Not engaged enough to form an opinion yet. It is kinda sad his Recognized mate disappeared, though. Edgerunner: Rude. Period. Greywing: Not engaged enough to form an opinion. Jaseio: Polite, grateful for help. Badger has no ill blood towards her. Juniper: He prefers to keep to himself, but he is not a bad personality. Hard-working and trustworthy. Keleero: Seems to get stressed easily, maybe? Mahrak: Not met yet. Mindlight: Not engaged enough to form an opinion yet. No-Sting: Badger is fascinated by the tuft-eared maiden. She hates it if No-Sting hurts herself because of Badger or something they have done together. Panaetha: She is a talented fisher and talented magic user. Badger is a little bit awe-struck. Reefshadow: Not engaged enough to form an opinion. Sefu: Not engaged enough to form an opinion yet. Sunset: Not engaged enough to form an opinion. Swift-Wind: Not engaged enough to form an opinion. Swish: Not engaged enough to form an opinion yet.
Former tribemembers
Goldenbraid: Not engaged enough to form an opinion. (Meadow): Did not engage enough to form an opinion. Nettle: Did not engage enough to form an opinion. Rokuta: He is cute and helpful. Silverthorn: If they had had more time together, Badger might have had gotten a crush on him. Slinker: Badger is not impressed by his sweet talk. Also, not impressed by him being condescending towards her. Tinder: Badger disliked her. First snarling faces over nothing, then assuming and guessing what Badger's life is about. Tinder might as well go suck an egg, for all Badger cares. Vareesi: Did not engage enough to form an opinion.

Post by Mahrak on Oct 12, 2015 19:22:41 GMT 1
Badger: Seems a bit timid, so they haven't talked much yet. Choice: Cute! Mahrak might flirt a bit with him. Crispin: A ray of gentle sunshine! Not someone Mahrak would try to drag along for an adventure, but he finds her company soothing and is very glad to have a healer around. Eryk: Hasn't seen much of him yet, though he's heard his name mentioned and glimpsed him a few times. FarSight: TBA Flint: Seems very serious but full of strange tales. Might lighten up if they hang out more? Juniper: Hasn't talked much with him yet. Seems to be on the older side and thus not up for exploration. Keleero: High-strung yet stone-faced. Weird. Possibly fun to poke at? Definitely fun to take a tumble with! Milo: Having found out that Milo has human blood, Mahrak is determined to ask him all about that. Also, try to get the kid to lighten up a bit. Nightbird: So glad the Beacon brought her too! No-Sting: She can likely be fun, though maybe not quite as adventurous as Mahrak himself. He at first thought to flirt with her, but she seems to have eyes only for Badger. Reefshadow: Such a colorful elf! SL2657F: Ooooh boy, where to start?! She's all covered in fur and she's been crazy jumpy! Needs to poke her more to see what happens! Sunset: TBA Swift-Wind: Seems to be cheerful and appreciates magic! Flirt with? Tambri: Mahrak was at first enthusiastic to speak with an even newer newcomer than him, but after The Incident (as Mahrak thinks of it), Mahrak has been very wary around her. He won't tell anyone who was out scouting for humans with them why, but he makes sure not to be alone with Tambri, not trusting her not to lash out again.
Former tribe members Edgerunner: Barely knew him since he was often out scouting by himself. Him being dead is still terrible though and a unsettling reminder that death come for all in the end. Greywing: Didn't have time to get to know her well, but is sad she's gone. Jaseio: She seemed nice and Mahrak was utterly fascinated by her claims to have lived close by to humans, peacefully. He's very disappointed he won't get the chance to ask her more questions. Mindlight: Didn't have much time to get to know her, but she seemed like a decent person. Sad that she's gone. Panaetha: He found her fascinating and is sad she's gone. Sefu: A shy one. Mahrak would have loved to help him get out of his shell and is sad he'll now never get the chance. Silvergill: Didn't have time to get to know her, which is too bad, since Mahrak wants to get to know everyone he can. Swish: A very colorful kit! Mahrak hopes Swish has gone somewhere safe.
