Ok,
I have no idea what to do here. I'm new to the holt and in the process of having my chars approved, being two of them. I've been asked to create separate linked accounts to my main pb account being under my username Pyre that I use in the group. Saying that I am not sure what to do. Am I creating junior accounts via PB that register to my main global PB membership account for my chars individually? I already checked out that the PB system allows for this to be done, but if I create any new accounts than they must be approved by our Admin too. I'm working on a blank here guys and girls. This process was not listed on the forum rules or information, so I'm confused.
Am I doing it right or wrong?
Help. Please.

You aren't required to use separate accounts for each character, but with the ease ProBoards offers for switching between accounts, many of us prefer it. I am not sure about your terminology, but it sounds like yes, you would be creating junior accounts. Sofia is pretty quick about approving things; if you choose to go the multiple account route, just shoot her a PM saying what the second account's username is. Copy/pasting instructions from a different thread, just in case: In the lower right corner of your browser window, do you see that little panel? It's got two people, then an icon of two panels, then the gear? Click the first one, with the people. It will take you to a page that lists your linked accounts for this forum (of which you only have one). Below that, you'll see a link to create a new account for this forum. Click that, create new account.  To switch between accounts, you only have to click that icon and select the account you want to log in to; no additional password entry required. |

Ok,
It's just strange. Oh and sorry for the lingo, but yeah, I figured it works like a main user account with junior accounts coming off the main for the PB thing. I do wonder if I should be using each of my charries separate accounts now to rpg from. Oh that is gonna be so challenging. >.>. I'm gonna forget so many times. I can just see it.

Heh. It helps to have your display name as your character's name, and avatars unique to each profile. Then you have a lot of fail-safes in case you do forget in the middle of a post, or afterwards. Don't worry, I think a lot of us would understand forgetting every now and then...you just copy, delete, repost under the right name. I help run Oakleaf Holt, and I maintain a total of...12 accounts there, of varying levels of activity. You can do it.  |

And np. I haven't had much experience rpging in a holt via forums. I've usually only done so in the old yahoo groups. So this is a bit new in terms of rpg char management for me. XD. Thanks again. But aw man! Now I have to draw an avatar for my male elf. Blargh. I'll have to sub-in an avvy until I draw him. >.>.
Mine I can handle and my femme elf too.

Sorry that the create accounts info hasn't made it to the 'how to join' info yet! I'll try to get that added this weekend to prevent future confusion.
