Eryk felt like he was being washed away with words. He had not heard Tambri say as many words together ever before, and he thought something was wrong. He shook his head to the … situation in general.
“No, uhh, I don’t have my own space, I just sleep in the entrance way or by the sleeping cave if there is a bed available…” he muttered, unsure of what to make of the invitation to spend time in the space Tambri had called for her own. And the hand. The carpenter just clutched to his things; the knife was sheathed, the coat wrapped around him a little tighter, and the spoon … well, he might do some finishing touches on it later.
“Would not want to impose. You clearly appreciate your privacy and space.”, he said, still not taking the hand. Then the carpenter realised, maybe she needed the hand more than he did. And yet, he did not take it, just fumbled with the things in his hands, the pouch, the spoon, the ax.
What is WRONG with me?, he noticed himself thinking as he walked toward the cave entrance, leaving the hand as it was, and feeling a blush on his face. Maybe his temperature was rising, after all. Maybe he should go see the healer?

Tambri frowned once Eryk's back was to her. He didn't take the hand, he just turned away. Had she done something wrong? She felt the growl in her throat but stopped herself from letting it grow audible. "You will stay in my room and I'll not hear another word."
She hadn't meant to sound angry but she was a bit hurt. She moved forward and grabbed his elbow, tugging him along. Her grip tightened once they entered the tunnel toward the sleeping chambers, her unease obvious even if she was trying to hide it.
The room was just as she had described. One fur, clearly a wolf's, she moved to pull off the bed. Beneath were a few others. The room was otherwise bare. Shelves shaped into the walls were empty.
She released his arm and began to carefully fold the wolf-pelt up. It was a dark black with flecks of grey. The wolf had clearly been older. Once it was folded she placed it gently on the empty shelf, her hand lingering a moment.

“Err, alright…” Eryk barely managed to agree, and then he was tugged by the elbow and arm to the another direction where he had been heading first. Well, yes, maybe they did not care to listen to his cough and sniffles in the shared spaces, that was for certain, also the cold was common, it spread easily.
The carpenter did not feel like her tone was angry, but maybe it was a little angry. Angry like his mother’s when he got off the sick bed too early and managed to worsen his condition before fully healing…
“So, you have a place like this?”, he then wheezed as they entered the other part of the cave. “I guess you don’t need a tree den or a house after all.” The carpenter placed his things away out of harms way or where one would trip over them.

"No windows... too enclosed..."
She was trying to sound normal but the crack in her voice hinted she was afraid. Anyone who could scent it would know. She was this side of trembling which is whybshe only came here to sleep and only when exhausted enough to fall asleep quickly.
"I need more... room. Too tight."
She didn't know how to explain her claustrophobia. It was rare enough she figured. It caused issues when she had been in another tribe, but her lovemate had been much larger of an elf and didn't mind the extra space.

Eryk’s head was partially soup-y at this point, but he did take a note of the crack in voice and not to mention the words. This did sound quite a lot different than him going nuts after being cooped up inside for too long.
He shuffled a little closer, concerned. “Maybe a platform in a tree?” He suggested with a cough. “I’ll see what I can do when I get over this cold.”
Although he realised it did not help Tambri at all right now. She was practically shaking here indoors.

Tambri took a steadying breath before nodding her head. "Perhaps... but you... rest... I will go find some broth or something..."
She turned, her hand falling from the pelt. She glanced over her shoulder to glare at him, showing she was serious about him resting.
Ooc: sorry it is short.

Eryk raised his hands at the glare, as a sign of making peace. He sat down and looked at the wolfrider’s bond. “Is she — cough — always like that?”, he asked the wolf, but expected no answer. He snacked a little on the jerky meat, but swallowing hurt a bit, so maybe broth was the best idea for now. Easier to drink down.
Soup-y brain reminded him to find FarSight and tell him that the building had to wait a couple of days, but if the male wolfrider wanted to, he could haul log to the building site with Frostbite. Eryk had a feeling that Tambri would kick his arse if he tried to do anything else than stay put.

Spook didn't respond just as Eryk had suspected though he did snort once the jerky was gone. Of course he only stuck around in hopes of a morsel. Tambri left and hurried back to the common room. Who was the healer again? Crispin she thought. **Are you awake? Sorry to bother you. The thickskull GoBack went and caught cold. Do you have any herbs for a good broth?** Tambri hated that she was stuck indoors trying to fix a broth but at the same time she figured she would have to have her own bowl. As a preventative. As for FarSight. He was waiting at the entrance to the cave, hand on Frostbite's back. He saw Tambri and inhaled briefly before tilting his head. "Hey! Good morning!" Tambri glanced over at FarSight, nodding her head to him and the wolf in greeting. Spook growled and puffed himself up as if that would make him appear dominant to the wolf that was easily more than twice his size. Two smaller wolves were bouncing around, clearly in the midst of play, and obviously having no interest in what was going on around them. "Have you seek Eryk up this morning? He and I had a job planned." Tambri nodded her head towards the sleeping chamber. **He caught a cold and is staying in bed until it's passed. I'd steer away to avoid catching it as well.** "Is that why his scent is all over you?" FarSight smirked. After a moment, and the glare that resulted he frowned. "I meant nothing by it...I apologize, Tambri... Hey, so... I'm going to be working in the woods on trees. Let me know if you need anything while I'm out. I'll check the snares, too." With that he set off with three harnesses, two are obviously for the cubs and looked freshly made. One was clearly for the larger wolf. Seemed he had a mind to start teaching the cubs to work. Tambri watched them go before returning to her usual-when-indoors scowl and continued prepping a pit for broth. Maybe it'd turn into a stew for the others?

Once alone, the go-back twiddled his thumbs as he looked around. This sleeping area was as it was, just a sleeping area, not much of a home. Eryk began to bounce his knee, as staying put was starting to get on his nerves.
There was not even anything to clean up! It became rather clear that Tambri came here really just to sleep and not to spend time. The carpenter got up from his seat, then sat down, but then got up again and went to get the unfinished spoon.
If he’d finish the utensil, he would have something to do, and the chips of wood to clean up! Win-win, it seemed like to the carpenter.

Ooc may be a good spot to wrap up or wait for responses from anyone else?
