"Oh! They are definitely magnificent creatures these wolves! It's just fine, sweet Badger. I at least know a bit more about them now." she gave Badger a beatific smile to reassure her that what she had sent had been just fine.
"My old tribe wandered around the land most of the time, but in the winter we usually gathered in caves by the fire mountains. The horses helped us carry our tents, food, and a lot of other things, but they are also our companions. Sometimes humans also wandered with us.”
A low, persistent ache had started in her hands from almost constantly working on furs, so when Badger presented the idea of going to the hot spring she was all game.
“Oh, that we could definitely do,” Jaseio said, already looking forward to the steaming water and the continued conversation. She put her work to the side and stood up.
OOC: Do we wanna finish of the thread here or go on with it? ^^

OoC: Trying to pick up this thread. Let me know, Jaseio , if you want rather end it. Maybe we could see if there is more people willing to join? Panaetha ? No-Sting ? Swift-Wind ? ~*~ [Fast forward to the hot springs.] "We did not have hot springs in my old home place," Badger explained once they arrived to the stony chamber of pools, "So this is very different to what I am used to." Of course, the sun often warmed river water and ponds, but it was still much cooler on the skin, compared to the pools of hot water they had here. Badger suspected she would not get used to the hot springs, but on the other hand... it was nice to have a supply of hot water. "Did you have pools like these where you from, Jaseio?" she asked as she took off her leathers, getting ready to bathe and relax a little. Coming from a simple culture, the wolfrider maiden lacked a certain bashfulness, what it came to baring skin. It was just a bath, after all, and sometimes they had had a whole tribe around for swimming and water games. |

OOC: Sure, I'll jump in  IC:No-Sting had been looking forward to a visit to the hot springs since early evening. Her muscles were sore from many nights out in the woods, searching for prey to hunt. They had food to eat, but barely scraping by was no way to live, so she did her best to get them more to live off of. But that meant strained legs and tired arms at the end of the night. Good thing this warm water was ready and available whenever she wished to use it. She was a little surprised to find the hot spring room already occupied, but not disappointed - rather, she was pleased. "Badger, Jaseio! Taking a break as well?" She hoped the appreciative glance she cast Badger's way didn't come across as too obvious.

OOC: I'll jump in as well IC: Swift-Wind had been dying to go to the hot springs all day. She felt like she really needed it. Normally, when she was at home, she would ask others to join here when she went about doing stuff. Here it had not been like that. She did things more often on her own. Swift-wind did not expect anybody to be by the hot springs at this hour, so she was quite surprised to find the place crowded. And to find her sister here as well. "Hi everyone! Fancy finding all of you here. I have been dying to take a bath, is it okay if I join you?" the tufft-eared elf said outloud. |

OoC: Been waiting for Jaseio, but I guess I can go on. ~*~ Badger greeted the two tuft-eared maidens with a smile. "Seems like the hot springs got a rush.", she commented with a bit of a smile, dipping down in the pool. It took a little moment to get used to the hot water -- the wolfriders did not have such a luxury nearby their home. Well, at least the wolfrider maiden had not had such. She turned to look at No-Sting, and felt a hint of a blush creeping up her cheeks. Was it the hot water or something else? A little stupefied, she brushed the hair off of her face and explained the presence of herself and Jaseio. "Jaseio was working on some winter garments for me, and I was trying to learn more. A break is something we both needed, so we came here." |

Badger and Jaseio - do you want this thread kept open while you're on hiatus or do you wish it to be archived? Threads can of course be brought back out of the archive if you change your mind at a later date
