Tribe name: The Far White
Leadership: None really. The different elf families form alliances and work together a lot, and no elf would kill another, but when food is scarce or the weather harsh you see to your own first.
Type of elves: (siberian) tiger-blooded elves
Soul Names: All elves from The Far White have soul names. Most need to go on a Soul Name Search to find theirs which they do when they're 15-20 years old.
Random Info: Tattoos are popular among these elves, though they don't mean anything in particular, are just meant to be pretty.
Recognition: These elves Recognize and children outside of Recognition are rare. In 2 cases of 3 Recognition leads to lifemating, while the other third tend to go separate ways after Recognition has been fulfilled.
Location: In another world, in a place akin to southeastern Russia in climate.
Culture: Despite their animal-blood the elves of The Far White use sound names instead of word names. The sound names of course have meaning though. The Far White elves have few traditions except that they meet up four times each year; at first snow, at snow-melt, at the darkest day of the year and the lightest day of the year. It's during these meetings that most Recognitions and lovematings take place. Elves from The Far White have no knowledge of humans or magic gone bad, think of trolls as legends and have the occasional encounter with preservers as some Far White families have one attached to their group. The Far White elves have legends of other elves as well, but only those who've left The Far White have ever encountered any.
Events Last heard from this group of elves things were going on as usual. Nothing particularly exciting has happened in the past, oh, 300 years or so. The last memorable thing that happened was when they had to drive off a member of their group – Hatharal – who'd seriously injured another elf. Before that there wasn't much more than some minor fights between elves and way back when encounters with trolls. But the troll encounters are so far back most think of them as stories to tell to kits before they go to sleep.
Known members: Alre, Amedeem, Elduin, Hatharal (banished), Mahrak, Samera, Shihon
Can other players make elves from this tribe to bring to Beacon Call? Yes! PM me if you're interested or (for people who're not yet members) send me an e-mail. My e-mail address is shadesofia @ yahoo . se (without the spaces of course).
