Hi everyone~  I was just feeling like bringing a bit of life back, and was thinking if anyone wanted to start a thread with Jas? I don't think it should be anything big just the elves establishing a sort of routine in this new place or maybe a relationship of sorts? I hope some fells like it |

Brainstorming! Im not sure of the when, since it feels a bit weird to just pick up where everything has been left, but it would also feel weird to just take a big time jump. Soooo... maybe a week after? I'm up for other ideas there :b The what is of course dependent on who you choose to bring in :b If I see it from Jaseio, there could be something with the horse, or she could have finished a hat, and gloves for Choice or boots or any other kind of thing for any of the others that need something to keep warm :b Or maybe bonding of some sort? also Jaseio is awed by Keleero and Panaetha's magical abilities. She would be very curious about it but would feel it inappropriate to ask about it xD If some time has passed it would also be an idea to figure out if they have interacted in the mean time:) Also I cannot remember if your elves are active in the night or the day, but Jas is active in the daylight And should be in the cave or outside? :b I hope this can be used as a start for out little brainstorming xD |

Yeah, a small time-jump will probably be good, if we leave what happened during the time-jump (how the scouting went, etc.) vague Keleero is diurnal (awake during the day), while Choice is nocturnal - he does see the benifit of being awake during daytime in a place as cold as this. No-Sting I'm not sure of yet, I'll have to talk to Anna about their culture. Thus I'm adding Keleero and Choice to this thread, while No-Sting can be out hunting. Also, I have an idea for what can start up a conversation between our elves. The idea: While exploring the mountain our 'holt' is in, Keleero senses a source of hot water (basically an underground hotspring). He could use this to create a primitive "heating system" for the inner caves, making it possible for elves and bond-friends from warmer climates to survive in our Holt during the winters It would give our elves something to talk about, setting off a bit of interaction and more shaping of the Holt. The water could also be a basis of future conflict between our elves and the trolls, if said source of hot water was part of the troll's underground kingdom (maybe one of their baths now is dry?) |

I won't be posting with any of my charas, likely anytime soon, unless they're really needed.
I'm trying to finish off some digi-illos I promised to a couple folks elsewhere.
Not EQ related or EQFanart related or EQHolt related.
Totally separate thing.

Great Jaseio I'll start the thread tonight or tomorrow (currently on a train and writing on my phone in slow and error-filled :/ ) unless someone else wants to start it a head of me. And don't worry @pyre - Beacon Call is suppose to be the kind of Holt you can dive in and out of based on the time/energy/inspiration you have. Your elves can be out hunt or exploring, whatever you like. Best of luck with your art! As for the search thread, like you said Panaetha half the players are busy elsewhere right now. We can put that thread on hold, as the parallel thread (At Work) back at the Holt is standing still too. Or we could have the scouts split in two groups to try and find traces of our missing Gliders, with the active players forming one party. Whatever works for you scouts |

...okay this is a bit scary. The day before yesterday (the 11th) I made _three_ posts here, to create a new thread for us to play this idea in (I called it "Hot Water"). Now, apparently, the whole thread has disappared, along with my post in this thread announcing the thread. I'm not sure if all three posts somehow got deleted or if I straight up dreamed I posted, but for whatever reason it's all gone now. Creepy. Oh well, I'll try again today, see what happens. That was just really weird and unsettling (I hate remembering doing things and not having them be true in some way). But great to see you back Skye! Not remembering old threads is perfectly understandable - I'm currently re-reading all the threads here to get my bearings. You're more than welcome to join the new thread with any or all of your elves When you feel you're caught up on things, however, it would be great if you could post with Mindlight in her arrival thread. It would be great to have that thread wrapped up, but no stress I'll give posting the thread another try and post again here with a link to it. Let's hope it doesn't vanish this time! |

I didn't dream those posts - my computer had the thread title saved so it popped up again when I started writing "Hot Water". Seems we have a disappearing-posts-issue :/ I'll talk with support and see if they know what's going on. Please e-mail me if your posts disappear too! My e-mail is shadesofia @ yahoo . se (withtout the spaces of course). The new thread is up over here! It's open for all, so just start posting there with which ever elves you like I also updated our Timeline and gave it some dates. The dates aren't supposed to be an in-game thing, since elves don't really keep calenders (at least not the kind we have in our world). It's just to help us keep track of time and the seasons - it's currently February the 25th Year 1. |

Apparently Skye's post decided to rush off to the "Hot Water"-thread for no clear reason  I moved it back with my admin powers. Seems the forum is experiencing some hiccups :/ Haven't heard back from support yet - will let people know as soon as I do! |
