Tribe name:
Homespun Holt
Leadership:
Chief, mostly by blood lineage unless challenged. The current chief is Windrunner, son of of the deceased Paletree and Sootemane.
Type of elves:
Wolfriders.
Soul Names:
TBA
Location:
A thick forest on an island which is connected to the mainland with a land bridge; the island is located in a freshwater lake which is located in an even larger forest. The Wolfriders house themselves in the large tree in the middle of the island, on the tallest hill. If one were to gaze upon the island from the mainland, one can see the Father tree stand out above the other treetops, its branches spreading high and far over the other trees. The tree had been shaped by treeshapers to house all willing though some Wolfriders have made the hill their home too, living in holes among the roots.
All four seasons occur here, though every season is mild and moderate; harsh winters are few and so are hot summers.
Humans and trolls can both be found though mostly on the mainland. The trolls have made the forest-y hills in the north west their homes while the humans have several settlements along the rivers which are connected to the lake. The lake is nicknamed the Restless Lake by the humans because of the presence of the 'spirits' upon the island and they keep a weary eye on it.
Preservers can be found fluttering around though their interaction with the elves is limited, mostly tending to their own business until winter comes and the Preservers retreat within the Father tree (to some Wolfriders' annoyance) to avoid the cold.
Events:
The humans have grown more bold the last few years, wishing for the island to be their home as they believe it to be more fertile than the mainland. However, only meaningless attempts to claim the island have been made and the casualties have been very low on both elven and human sides, the latest loss having been the chief's lifemate and his unborn cub. The trolls have been keeping to themselves and their mines underneath the hills though would trade with the elves at times, especially during the winter.
Known members:
Windrunner (current chief), Paletree (previous chieftess, deceased), Sootemane (deceased), Brightsong (Windrunner's lifemate, deceased), Dawn (Brightsong's sister), Meadow, Swift, Firefly, Dreammirror (Meadow and Firefly's's mother, Swift's lifemate, deceased), Stormchaser, Birchtree, Softfur, Chestnut, Fullmoon, Sunstar, Twig (Sunstar's lifemate, Fullmoon's father and Birchtree and Sootemane's brother, deceased), Openlight (deceased), Timid Wolf (deceased), Minkpelt (deceased), Daggerflick (deceased), Snakecharmer (deceased) and Brisk (deceased).
