Leadership: there is no existing leader, the elves live all by themselves in small groups or completely alone. Only sometimes there are respected persons who lead a group and elders are often asked about important things

Location: The world/dimension they live in is not very big and most parts of it are underwater. But it’s no ocean that covers most of the world, more a shallow sea in which you can easily walk. The only thing that stands out of the salt water are the friable cliffs and the mangroves with their tangled roots. In this trees – the only sort on the whole planet – the elves life. Creeping plants, moss and mushrooms grow on the branches, but the animals are only small. Even the birds and the fishes get not too big; however everything is present in huge quantities and make it easy to hunt and find something eatable. For elves it’s a safe world, because no humans or trolls live there. The climate there is subtropical, around 15 to 20 degrees every day, but with a 30 days rain season every 5 months and humid air almost every time. Expect of the rain season is the sky clear and blue, with a white sun and two each other orbiting moons during the day and a single moon on a nearly starless sky at night. It gives no Holt, because there is no place where a bigger group could survive, so only families live together in tree hollows and platforms between the branches. In the rain season, when the mangroves can be flooded for some time because the water level rises rapidly, they move to small caves in the cliffs.
Culture: There is not much magic in the culture, strong are only healing, gliding and wood shaping abilities if they are existing and some individuals tend to have other magic, but everyone can Send since childhood. The Names of the Mangrove Forests People are special: they are never longer than 6 letters, are always sound names, have never two vowels after another and if they have 3 vowels one must be silent. Only the end of the rain season is celebrated, mostly with a fire on the top of the cliff before everybody moves back to their homes in the mangroves when the water level sinks. Their way of living is very special, so most children can climb before they learn how to walk properly and even if they have so much water there they fear it and avoid swimming as long as they can. Also they count time on a other way, in Floodings, that means they know no weeks or months, only half years. Since there is no summer or winter on Vineta (pronounced: Vin’ta), as they call her world, somebody asked after his age will answer with counted Floodings, not years. Because most people live on their own it gives no big disputes about anything, only some quarrels between individuals which are fast settled without any violence.
Events: In the 8000 years since the High Ones landed on the planet nothing big happens. There were Floodings, which were stronger than usual and some problems with the adapting to the circumstances, but they worked it out and start to live peacefully without interruptions. The last bigger event was the celebration after the last Flooding.
