Tribe name:
Silver Talon Spire
Leadership:
Lord and his Lady (always a Recognized partner), plus one adviser titled the Chamberlain. The next-in-line for Lordship is the Lord's offspring, preferably male. If a ruling Lord has not been capable of conceiving offspring before his demise or departure, any other relative will take his place.
Type of elves:
Pure-blooded elves.
Soul Names:
TBA
Location:
A wide mountain range in which the seasons change four times a year (spring, summer, autumn and winter), yet in a different world. The vales are dense with forest and have a multitude of lakes. The Silver Talon Spire stands out from most mountains in the area because of its very tall peak which forms the 'spire' and the nesting area of the elves' Giant Hawks and other feathered companions.
The elves live deep within the mountain where a whole kingdom can be found, shaped across several millenniums. The tunnels run deep but also high into the peak, accustomed to both walking and gliding. Underground rivers and waterfalls are a part of the civilization, worked delicately into the design of the inner mountain.
Culture:
The Spire elves are all capable of sending, have no soulnames and only a rare few cannot glide. The birth and recognition rate has severely dropped the last few centuries, yet no elf is forced to remain within the mountain if they do not wish for it. The mountain is the safest and developed place in the vicinity and so most elves remain (willingly). They are a sophisticated race, elegant and regal who dress in fine spider silks and well crafted armor. They are loyal to their leader and each other, believing strongly in family.
Birds are the main inspiration for these Gliders. In almost anything crafted there is a hint of the inspiration, be it a bird symbol or the use of feathers. Giant Hawks and other much smaller birds can be found living within the peak and on the cliffs of the mountain and many elves have learned how to ride the Giant Hawks, used for transport across long distances or for hunting large game. It isn't uncommon for some Gliders to have a pet bird; falconry is a common sport among them.
The Lordship Baradir and his Lady Erale have reigned with a loving hand for a millennium (thousand years), their only son Kemdir being the next in line, currently head overseer of the mountain's militia.
The Silver Talon Spire elves are divided in two groups; the commoners and the militia. While all are equal, it is the militia which form the soldiers, hunters, providers, warriors, scouts and guards and are the elves which venture outside of the mountain to accomplish their tasks. It is a small force, split up into several smaller groups for efficiency. The commoners are the crafting folk, mostly rockshapers and other talented tradeskill people and remain within the mountain. The Chamberlain is their overseer together with Lady Erale.
Events:
The latest event was and has been the threat of the trolls entering the mountain's belly. Rockshapers have been placed in several locations throughout the mountain to make certain no walls will crumble and no troll will enter. The human threat has been minuscule; all eyes and ears are on the depths and tunnel system of Silver Talon Spire.
Known members:
Lord Idias (deceased), Lord Baradir, Lady Erale, Kemdir, Vareesi, Sento, Garodin, Relewen, Almar, Relen, Vefey, Dalyor and Taeral.
Can other players make elves from this tribe to bring to Beacon Call?
Yes, do contact me beforehand for more information. Send me a PM if you have any question.
