Tribe name: Divide Crossers
Leadership: they do not have any leaders, though if the need for one arose they'd likely go for a group of elders
Type of elves: caracal-blooded with a minority of pure-blooded still among them
Soul Names: Everyone has a soul name they know from birth and go by. Unlike with the Wolfsriders, it does not hold power over the elf, having come to be merely more than a use-name, though other elves still may recognize it as a soul name. Recognition in this case isn't about the name, but the deep knowledge of each other that comes with it.
Random Info: Many of them have scars or some sort of mutilation from work accidents or cruelty done by humans, especially magic-users growing strong enough for important tasks. Children are raised by the community surrounding them and may pick who they relate most to freely. Not all of them ever have a bond-beast in their life, for lack of caracals to partner with. They hide their ability to send from humans.
Recognition: happens frequently, though children from joining aren't unknown either. Since many children aren't allowed to grow up with their parents, they aren't expected to lifemate, work assignments more often than not tearing them apart – family is everyone you choose to include in it, regardless of blood relations
Location: a different one, the setting similar to ancient egypt – a warm climate, dominated by savanna bordering desert, marshlands near the two big rivers, some tropical spots and mountains along the shoreline at the end of the rivers. Given that the members of the tribe are scattered all among the humans, there is no coherent holt, just a big community helping ones own. They live in tents, houses of mud and wood as well as stone palaces, depending on their assigned workplace. Some who managed to escape into freedom live a nomadic life deep in the wilderness, not daring for settlements.
Culture: All of them use their soul names as use names, word-names only rarely picked as nicknames. By proximity to humans they all speak their language, but communication between each other happens almost exclusive through sending. There is a wide variety of magic users between them. They celebrate the suns equinox, the first rain of the monsoon, births, Recognitions and Bondings.
Events: Many, many generations ago the elves came to the savanna and settled in with the aid of bonding to the local caracals. The peace was disturbed when their paths crossed with the nearby human civilization, more advanced than what the elves had come to be. As they already had taken other groups of humans as slaves, elves too were soon overwhelmed into captivity, much appreciated for their long lives and the benefits of magic. Too small in numbers for a rebellion they settled into this, playing for time and making the best of it. With the human civilization strong in grow there is no sign of this changing in the near future, though there are always some to seek freedom and escape.
