Tribe name: Treewalkers
Leadership: majority-vote between all currently present tribe-members, children included. There will be a call and whoever arrives in time gets a say. Smaller issues get discussed between the affected members.
Type of elves: pure-blooded
Soul Names: they have them and know them from birth, some even go by their soul-name as the use-name
Random Info: Most of them are tall for elves, of a slim build and have rather light hair, skin and eye-color. They prefer cloth over fur and while they don't have bond-beasts, most are friendly with the animals they share the trees with.
Recognition: they do recognize, but it is not expected to bond for life and younger people are encouraged to try themselves out. Reproduction frequently happens out of recognition too and there's many big patchwork families.
Location: a medieval world, similar to Great Britain, where elves have existed since ancient times, having become a thing of fairy tales. (think like the Djun stories of canon, but different world) Same as the Spouting Antlers Holt, though they don't know of each other. They live in the south of the continent, where the climate is mild yearlong. Having found solitude in an ancient isolated forest on the Kings winter residence, other humans not allowed there, they keep their distance, living up in the trees, where they've build pathways, birdnest-like homes and such.
Culture: It is a holt of gliders, meaning nearly all members have the ability to float. Everyone can send and levitation, plant-shaping as well as weather-shaping are common magic. They have sound-names, some elves openly go by their soul-names, especially the older ones, settled in life. Due to proximity with the humans, most celebrations take place in summer, when the residence is nearly abandoned. Contact to humans isn't forbidden, but encouraged to be short and of a friendly manner, so that the delicate peace might hold.
Events: the expected birth of a half elf, half human child had awoken hopes to further connect the two races in peace among the holt members knowing of it (mostly those close to Lyam). When Lyam, concerned about child and mother, entered the residence and found the mother dead, the newborn alone in a chamber, he attempted to take it back to the holt, but was discovered by guards and killed under the assumption of trying to steal a child that wasn't his. The following rage of King Torik against the spirits he blames for the death during childbirth of his daughter broke the long-lasting peace and started a war between both races.
Known members: Olim, Lyam (Olims father, deceased)
Can other players make elves from this tribe to bring to Beacon Call? Yes! Details of the tribe can be adapted at request, since Olim didn't grew up among it – all that is set is that they're gliders living in trees, they have soul-names and the events bit.
