Tribe name: The Tuftear Clan
Leadership: Lead by the four eldest living elves in the tribe, but their decisions can be questioned.
Type of elves: lynx-blooded elf
Soul Names: Yes, all members of the tribe have soul names. They know their soul names from birth and sometimes their parent(s) also know their child's soul name.
Random Info: These elves haven't (yet) invented tattoos. They have no word for "starsong", instead call elves who hear the starsong loudly 'sky-touched' (which is a bit of an insult).
Recognition: TBA
Location: In a forest on another world, but with similar climate and nature as the Beacon Call area.
Culture: The tribe is somewhat decentralized, existing as one group but generally spreading out to do activities like hunting, sleeping, eating, working on their crafts etc. in solitude or small family groups. The whole tribe meets on special occasions, like celebrations or when big decisions are being made. They don't have permanent sleeping places, they just stay in the trees whenever they feel tired, like their bond-friends. Magic is seen as dangerous among the Tuftears. Magic users aren't shunned, but they're discouraged from developing their talents due to fear of a repeat of the 'bad magic' legends say was the reasons the High Ones and their Starhome fell.
Events: The have been trading with the local trolls for some time. No big events have happened in the last three hundred years. There are no humans living nearby. They have vague legends of preservers but no name for them left.
Known members: No-Sting, Roseroot, Swift-Wind, Wit
Can other players make elves from this tribe to bring to Beacon Call? Yes! PM me and Swift-Wind if you're interested or (for people who're not yet members) post in this thread.
